Missing 9-year-old found safe and sound: Police

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A 9-year-old boy who disappeared from his northeast school on Thursday morning, has been found safe and sound in downtown Calgary.

The boy disappeared from his school, Chief Justice Milvain, on 42nd St. NE around 9 a.m.

Police say he was found shortly after 7:30 p.m. around the Harry Hayes building on Riverfront Ave.

Officers searched the city all day aided by numerous tips from the public.
