CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are cautioning drivers about leaving their vehicle running and unattended. While it might be tempting to use your remote starter to heat up your vehicle in this cold weather, it leaves it vulnerable to theft. CPS released home footage this morning of a person walking up to an SUV parked in front of a home and driving away.
According to police, the suspect, in this case, was arrested thanks to the high-quality video. Five people also suffered the same fate this morning, according to police.
