Hitmen increase winning streak to five with victory over Rockets

The Calgary Hitmen ran their home ice winning streak to six games with a 5-1 victory over the Kelowna Rockets on Friday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Egor Zamula led the way with a goal and two assists while Jake Kryski scored twice for the Hitmen who built period leads of 2-1 and 3-1.

Riley Stotts and Ryder Korczak also found the back of the net for the Hitmen as Stotts extended his point streak to four games.

Calgary is now 9-2-0-1 in their last 12 to move within a point of a playoff spot.
